Arnold Mens­hen suc­ces­si­ve­ly han­ded over the manage­ment of the various com­pa­nies to his two sons Knut and Lutz from the end of the 1980s. Knut Mens­hen took over the manage­ment of the Stauff Group in 1988 and the Mens­hen Group in 1995, and Lutz Mens­hen took over the scrap trade in 1992.

The 3 divi­si­ons were mer­ged into LUKAD Hol­ding in 2001, which faci­li­ta­ted the manage­ment of the various com­pa­nies and made a much clea­rer share­hol­der struc­tu­re pos­si­ble.
In addi­ti­on, LUKAD Hol­ding offers over­ar­ching ser­vices such as the enti­re IT infra­struc­tu­re, com­pli­ance and inter­na­tio­nal human resour­ces manage­ment, tax con­sul­ting, con­trol­ling, audi­ting and ser­vices for the annu­al finan­cial state­ments for the 3 divisions.
